Because we favour fresh local produce our menu changes with the seasons, and because we make all our food on site we’re able to cater for special dietary requirements – so please ask your wait staff about gluten, dairy free or vegetarian options.

Soup of the Day – Chef’s daily selection

Seafood Chowder – thick & creamy with homemade bread (delicious!)

Lamb Burger – grilled Southern lamb with hummus and tahine-lemon sauce

Open Chicken Sandwich – tender chicken breast, bacon and grilled cheese

All Day Southern Man Breakfast – the works

Eggs Benedict - served on home-made bread with bacon or house smoked salmon

Blue Cod – pan seared to perfection served with fresh salad and home baked bread

Smoked Salmon Salad – home smoked Stewart Island salmon served with a salad of fresh seasonal vegetables

Chicken and Bacon Salad

Nachos - Mexican style, cheese, sour cream and sweet chilli salsa served with corn chips

Lasagne – Beef or vegetarian, served with salad

Eggs Benedict ­– poached eggs with hollandaise served on our home-made toast accompanied by our choice of bacon or house smoked salmon.

Southern Man Breakfast – for the hearty eater who’d struggles with choice it’s all here, bacon, free range eggs, breakfast sausage, tomato, toast ....

French Toast ­ - served with bacon, fried banana and maple syrup.

We’ll personalise buffet and set menu options to utilise the delicious fresh, local produce and suit your budget and your guests.

Our restaurant seats 45 people. Then there’s our intimate conservatory garden as well as alfresco and marquee dining options in our beautiful garden.
